Kristallpalast (lyrics)
Wir sind hier so glücklich,
wir sind hier so froh.
Wenn wir morgens aufstehen,
ist es wirklich so
Wir haben kein Problem
Wir haben keine Sorgen
Die Zukunft wird nie anders
Dasselbe wie gestern, heut und morgen
Was einmal war vergessen

The gap

The gap (lyrics)
Look here, don't you notice something's different?
Look here, haven't I changed?
Look here, can't you see the tears in my eyes?
Look here, can't you see my pain?
We were so close, lying side by side
Skin to skin, heart to heart, body next to body
We were so close, yet we remained strangers
But have we really been that close?
There was a gap between us, we never bridged that gap
We changed sides, but whichever side we chose was the wrong one
There was a gap between us, we never bridged that gap
We changed sides, but whichever side we chose was the wrong one
We were so close, phoning every day
Word after word, sweet little nothings
We phoned so much, used up so many words
But tell me, when did we ever talk?
There was a gap between us, we never bridged that gap
We changed sides, but whichever side we chose was the wrong one
There was a gap between us, we never bridged that gap
We changed sides, but whichever side we chose was the wrong one
Look here, don't you notice something's different?
Look here, haven't I changed?
Look here, can't you see the tears in my eyes?
Look here, can't you see my pain?

Counting out time

Counting out time (lyrics)
Now the days are endless
I am out again
I want to caress you
Feel your body's heat
Ghosts are laughing quietly
They just want my soul
One hundred thousand soldiers
Are walking in my head
Once there was this man
They followed on his call
He turned water into wine
Made blinds see again
My soul was burning
It was dying every day
I decided to live again
But I 've forgotten how
There are too many others, hey I can't hold on
The air is cold as ice and ground is giving way
I'm counting out time
Just counting out time
The fire is still burning
Burning in my soul
I want to seduce you
But I don't quite know why
You will kiss my lips
But you'll betray my hear
You only play for high stakes
The stain is on your face
There are too many others, hey I can't hold on
The air is cold as ice and ground is giving way
I'm counting out time
Just counting out time
Life is killing me, I won't hold on
Life just seems to flow away, to pass
We are thrown, helplessly back into the past
Where we're counting out time
Just counting out time
Counting out life

Walking close to you (lyrics)
Sometimes there is darkness all around us
When all we need is a flickering light
We look inside ourselves, just empty spaces
When all we need is a place to hide
Sometimes the burden feels too heavy
And we need a lighter load
We look around, just empty faces
When all we need is a friendly smile
Sometimes what you do doesn’t seem to matter
Sometimes nobody seems to care at all
Sometimes all your thoughts and efforts seem to go unnoticed
When all you need is for someone to see you
And when your mind tries to deceive you
Tries to make you feel all alone
Just raise your arm
And you will feel my presence
Walking close to your

You can relax (lyrics)
You think you are so informed you really think you are
But what you know is just a shadow of the truth
You close your eyes to facts you don’t want to see
See no evil - hear no evil - speak no evil
Do you believe in what you see
Or do you want to see what you believe
Your whole world is based on rules
But don’t you see, they disappeared
You can relax and lean back in your chair
Watch TV like the BBC news at 10
And if you hear a noise, don’t be afraid
You know you can always call for the police
You can rely on the forces that guard you
They watch everything so you can sleep undisturbed
And if there is a killer on the loose don’t be alarmed
They’ll get him before he gets you
You watch TV every night through the year
Believing every single lie you see
You’re frightened by the pictures of angry young men
Threatening your own little world
You call for a strong leader someone with ideas
To control the threats to your world view
You don’t recognize the real problems
The lies of our leaders pleaders of their own power
You can relax and lean back in your chair
Watch TV like the BBC news at 10
And if you hear a noise, don’t be afraid
You know you can always call for the police
You can rely on the forces that guard you
They watch everything so you can sleep undisturbed
And if there is a killer on the loose don’t be alarmed
They’ll get him before he gets you
You watch TV every night through the year
Believing every single lie you see
You close your eyes to facts you don’t want to see
See no evil - hear no evil - speak no evil
You call for a strong leader someone with ideas
To control these threats to your world view
Your whole world is based on rules
But don’t you see, they disappeared
You can relax and lean back in your chair
Watch TV like the BBC news at 10
And if you hear a noise, don’t be afraid
You know you can always call for the police
You can rely on the forces that guard you
They watch everything so you can sleep undisturbed
But if there is a killer on the loose better be alarmed
He’ll get you before they have a chance to get to him

It's over

It's over (lyrics)
Maybe I don't, I don't feel like crying
Though I think I know you're gone
Maybe I don't want to talk to you now
After all the things we've done
It's easy now to live without me, can't you see?
Well, it's up and down, again, again
Is anyone here who could give me a sign?
Can't you see, I'm dying for you?
Just knock on my door if you're really out there
I'll be coming to see you
She said: I'm all alone in your dream house, but can't you see
that it's up and down, again, again
Do you know it's over now?
Do you know it's over?
Do you know it's over now?
Do you know
It's over!
Maybe I thought, thought I'd write to you now
For I know you'd understand
Maybe I was thinking of something you said,
Yeah, as my oldest friend
You said: It's over now and it's not easy, can't you see,
that it's up and down, again, again
Do you know it's over now?
Do you know it's over?
Do you know it's over now?
Do you know
It's over!

Times long gone by (lyrics)
White walls cover all the sounds
No lights illuminate the ground
Just beside the iron door
Lies a blanket on floor
Can you recall the times long gone by
When water, not blood rained down on us
Can you recall the times long gone by
When hope, not fear was on our minds
Water's dripping down the walls
Nothing to dring, no food at all
They want to break you, they try their best
The pain is growing in your chest
Can you recall the times long gone by
When water, not blood rained down on us
Can you recall the times long gone by
When hope, not fear was on our minds
You're not forgotten yet
You're not alone
Hold on, hold on to your hope
There are people who care for you
They're trying to free you
Hold on, hold on to your hope
Can you recall the times long gone by
When water, not blood rained down on us
Can you recall the times long gone by
When hope, not fear was on our minds

The night (lyrics)
And the sky that once was blue turned a darker shade of grey
And the night finally came to stay
And the sun disappeared obscured by heavy clouds
And the night finally came to stay
A new beginning is what we need
A second chance to start anew
We need somebody
To take us by our hand
To light the torch of hope for us
And the rain stained our hearts, washed away all that was good
And the night finally came to stay
And we knew that all that was would never be again
And the night finally came to stay
A new beginning is what we need
A second chance to start anew
We need somebody
To take us by our hand
To light the torch of hope for us
And the storm blew away all the love we had inside
And the night finally came to stay
And the love that was ours could not withstand the storm
And the night finally came to stay
A new beginning is what we need
A second chance to start anew
We need somebody
To take us by our hand
To light the torch of hope for us
A new beginning is what we need
A second chance to start anew
We need somebody
To take us by our hand
To light the torch of hope for us

Do you remember me

Do you remember me (lyrics)
Not so long ago the two of us were one
Once we used to be in love
But now our dreams, shattered by reality
Now, we live separate lives
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, remember the bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, there were so few bad times, remember the lot
It was summer when the two of us first met
On a sunny day in June
I still remember you were whistling a tune
The tune is still in my head
It started off so well, we made the perfect pair
Our happiness, it seemed complete
But then I had to go, there was no other way
Leaving behind shattered dreams
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, remember the bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, there were so few bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember walking to Edale
On all those lovely Sunday afternoons
Remember us walking, us laughing and talking
Do you remember all the fun we had
Do you remember talking till midnight
Do you remember all the plans we made
Remember the cottage we wanted to buy
Do you remember that
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, remember the bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, there were so few bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, remember the bad times, remember the lot
Do you remember me, remember how it used to be
Remember the good times, there were so few bad times, remember the lot
